From the author of the uniquely data-driven new book on managing the so-called Imposter Syndrome comes the interactive workshop that teaches the tools you need to reframe your relationship with the feelings of being a fraud in the workplace.
"You're NOT good enough...
...those people to whom you compare yourself are every bit as superior as you think they are.
They know more than you...and they're going to find you OUT!"
Sound familiar?
This is how you speak to yourself when you think you're a fraud but all the hard evidence of your success says otherwise.
This self-doubting, confidence-draining voice in your head is the so-called Imposter Syndrome.
But you DO know enough...
...and as part of this community, you will connect with the others who feel as you do.
You will discover the hidden histories behind the personal and professional origins of the Imposter Syndrome.
From new research directed by Marc (your host), you will acquire the tools and frameworks to prevent your self-doubt from interfering with your day-to-day life and career.
This is NOT an Imposter Syndrome workshop...
...this is the workshop that will convince you to ditch the term 'imposter syndrome' forever.
Recast 'syndrome' as 'phenomenon' and build your path towards teaching others how common the imposter experience actually is.

Back in 2015, I started writing the diary that would later save my career.
I didn't know it then. I didn't know what the so-called Imposter Syndrome was. And worse than that, I was quite deeply embarrassed to tell anyone about the way I was feeling. A diary was really the only way to extract those thoughts from my head, and put them elsewhere so that I could think, even for a minute, clearly about the job I was supposed to be doing during the day.
Comparing myself to others. Panicking. Procrastinating. Over-preparing...
I always felt like I didn't know enough. I felt like I wasn't good enough and I always felt like I was just a few moments away from being found out. My manager was going to come storming in to the lab office and chuck me out, throw me out of the team back to where I came from. I didn't know it then, but it was only six or seven years later that that diary became something more...
It became something not only for myself, but something that enabled me to start conversations with people like you across the table from me. That's how we got to the point of having ’You Are (Not) a Fraud’ (and I very much look forward to sending you a personal message and a signed copy of this book).
Now, while there's arguably quite a direct line between the story of writing a diary and writing a book, I could not ever have imagined those secret ramblings ever becoming the workshop that you and I are now doing together!
I cannot wait to meet you online and get started. It's a real privilege to be able to do this. We're going to talk about what could be interpreted as the loneliness of your imposter experience. We'll look at things that, to me, were pennies that dropped only over a much longer period of time.
That's the positive intensity of this workshop. Many of those pennies, I hope, will drop for you in a much shorter period of time than they did for me.
We'll talk about the counterintuitive tool that comes from questioning what we really mean by the word “imposter”. We'll look at how your personal ancestry can help you create a tool to better manage your imposter experience. We'll look at things like repeated failure. We'll look at comparisons, and we'll look at different frameworks for how you can peer into the future in ways that help you stop procrastinating in that way that those of us who feel like imposters know all too well.
My final message for you is this...Thank you! Thanks for being here. Thanks for being a part of this thing that, once upon a time, I could never have imagined.
I'm desperately excited to hear about the story that brought you. And I'm excited to hear about the story that you're writing for your future.
All the very best, and I'll see you very soon,
Marc
